Avarusaurus populator ("greedy lizard ravager") is an 18-26 feet long (5.4-7.9 meters) species of spinosaurid dinosaur that is found on Skull Island. The animal is described in the book "The World of Kong: A Natural History of Skull Island" (from 2005).
Facts[]
Avarusaurus is a medium-sized, partly quadrupedal, omnivorous dinosaur from the jungles of Skull Island, similar in its lifestyle to a large bear. An Avarusaurus is a surly opportunist that eats everything from carrion to fungi, live prey to rotten fruit.
An intensely acidic stomach allows the big omnivore to bulk on whatever food it comes across for digestion later. The semi-quadrupedal Avarusaurus is solitary, but its tenacity and strength keep it safe from most other predators, like Foetodon

- Like all animals from Skull Island. It is unknown what they faced during the sinking of the island. Given the multiple expeditions, there may be a chance that a few surviving populations was saved off-land to a more stable enclosure.
