The Bile-fin (Bililepis catus, meaning "clever bile-fin") is a fish found on Skull Island.

Facts[]

A small but strange fish. The Bile-fin is a disgusting creature to any predator that attempts to eat it. Completely jet-black all over, the Bile-fin is able to camouflage itself in the densest of weeds.

However, if the camouflage does not work, it would attempt to flee. As its name suggests, the Bile-fin is a smart fish, and will attempt to trick, dupe and outsmart potential would-be predators. If even that fails, the little fish has one last trick up its sleeve.

Fortunately, as its name implies, the Bile-fin is most likely filled with noxious bile that the fish collects within its insides. Any predator attempting to swallow it would promptly spit the fish out due to the strong levels of toxicity.

Trivia[]

  • Like all animals from Skull Island. It is unknown what they faced during the sinking of the island. Given the multiple expeditions, there may be a chance that a few surviving populations was saved off-land to a more stable enclosure.
