Boan was a member of the Petrox Explorer's crew.
Character
Boan went along with Jack Prescott and Carnahan as part of the search party trying to rescue Dwan from King Kong. When the party encountered Kong while crossing a deep chasm bridged by a fallen log, Kong shook most of the men off the log except for Boan, who jumped to safety. Prescott then sent him back to inform Fred Wilson and Captain Ross of the search party's demise.
