Celocimex horribillis ("Terrible hidden bug") is a dragonfly native to Skull Island.
Facts[]
Little is known of Celocimex other than it is at home in the jungle canopies of the island, but like its kin, it may have been a carnivore and fed on other insects, and lay eggs in water-bodies. Of course Celocimex may have also been food for other creatures like the flizard Alatusaurus Sanguideia.
In the Film[]
While the crew of the Venture were trekking through the Skull Island jungles, they were bothered by a swarm of Celocimex, which Lumpy blasted apart with his Tommy gun.

Trivia[]
- The giant dragonflies that can be used as bait in Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie could be Celocimex.
- Like all animals from Skull Island. It is unknown what they faced during the sinking of the island. Given the multiple expeditions, there may be a chance that a few surviving populations was saved off-land to a more stable enclosure.
