Cutiscidis, ("Skin-crab"), is a type of coastal crab in Skull Island that measures 1-4 inches across (2.5-10.1 centimeters).
Description[]
A remarkable variety of parasite crab, Cutiscidis attached itself to a host's skin and fed from the wound. The Skin-crab's carapace formed a protective scablike cap, to shelter the parasite as it grew.
The crab detached only to breed, dropping to the riverbed to locate others of its own kind, after which it would seek a new host.

Trivia[]
- They probably fill the same niche as ticks and other external parasites.
- Like all animals from Skull Island. It is unknown what they faced during the sinking of the island. Given the multiple expeditions, there may be a chance that a few surviving populations was saved off-land to a more stable enclosure.
- Given their parasitic behaviour. Any coastal animal that was saved on Skull Island most likely had these embedded within them. So they most likely survived.
