Estrivermis, ("glutton-worm") an annelid that is 15-20 inches long (38-50.8 centimeters) and lives in the river and swamp systems of Skull Island.
Facts[]
Estrivermis is a large worm that uses its sharp-rasping mouth to dig into the flesh of a host until it locates a blood vessel, sometimes several inches deep.
Fusing itself inside, it feeds on life-sustaining blood directly from the veins. Once attached, the parasite remains embedded, its tail dangling outside the body of the host, expelling waste and eggs into the water.

Trivia[]
- Given their parasitic nature. It is likely that they survived via their host after Skull Island sank.
- Like all animals from Skull Island. It is unknown what they faced during the sinking of the island. Given the multiple expeditions, there may be a chance that a few surviving populations was saved off-land to a more stable enclosure.
