The Great Grey Heron is a heron found on Skull Island. It probably evolved from the grey heron from mainland Asia and they are usually located in the waterways of Skull Island.
Facts[]
The sharp pick-ax bills of the Great Grey Heron would make short work of a baby Foetodon's leathery armor and they usually waited in these nurseries to strike when the Foetodon's parents leave to hunt.
However, caution must be taken, as the Great Grey Heron itself could become prey to a much enraged Foetodon parent once it realizes what was done to their nest.
Since they are only located in the waterways, baby Foetodons could survive by swimming out of its nurseries. Once the Foetodons mature, these birds turn from predator to prey.
Trivia[]
- Like all flying birds in Skull Island, it is likely that they would have survived without human help once the island sank to the bottom of the ocean.
- It was possibly bigger than the normal grey heron judging by its name.
