The Green Carrion Parrot (Caropsitticus verdens, meaning "green flesh parrot") are one of the many members that comprise Skull Island's Carrion Parrots. They are the second biggest Carrion Parrot just behind the Great Carrion Parrot, as they have a 3-4 foot long wingspan (0.9-1.2 meters).
Facts[]
As aforementioned, the Green Carrion Parrot is the number two as far as size goes, possessing the second longest wingspan and is just slightly shorter than those found on the Great Carrion Parrot. Like its larger sibling, the Green Carrion Parrot uses its large wings to soar through the sky, looking for a potential meal for a long period of time.
In contrast to the more dull-looking Great Carrion Parrot, the Green Carrion Parrot as its name implies, is far more vibrant, possessing a very lush purple-green mixture in its colour pattern.
Trivia[]
- It is unknown why these parrots became scavengers given the large abundance of scavengers already filling the niches.
- Like all flying birds, it is likely that the Green Carrion Parrots survived the sinking of Skull Island without the need of human help.
