The Guard-bug, Custocimex ferratus ( Guard -bug covered with iron) is an insect that lives in Skull Island and is only 2 inches long (5 centimeters).
Facts[]
The Guard-bug has a stance of a beetle. has very large antennas proportionally to its body, so can detect vibrations several meters away.
Most distinctive of all is its the brillant color in the exoskeleton.
Trivia[]
- Like all animals from Skull Island. It is unknown what they faced during the sinking of the island. Given the multiple expeditions, there may be a chance that a few surviving populations was saved off-land to a more stable enclosure.
