Hydruscimex maximus ("large serpent-bug") is a 9-12 feet long (2.7-3.6 meters) centipede-creature that dwells in the marshes of Skull Island.
Facts[]
Aquatic Hydruscimex is the largest neopede of all (and the largest centipede of all time).
Its venom is more dilute than many other species, but its sheer size means it can inject lethal doses with a single bite, subduing even small dinosaurs, like juvenile Ligocristus.
Trivia[]
- Hydruscimex is much like Scolopendra cataracta: the waterfall centipede of southeast Asia.
- Like all animals from Skull Island. It is unknown what they faced during the sinking of the island. Given the multiple expeditions, there may be a chance that a few surviving populations was saved off-land to a more stable enclosure.
