Idolon illotus (meaning "dirty apparition") is a 10-14 inches long (25.4-35.6 centimeters) species of Idolon.
Facts[]
A Megapede species of the Jungle canopy, Idolon illotus was a voracious predator of the high canopy, where it tore along the branches in pursuit of Flizards.
Contrasted with the heavyweight centipedes of the jungle floor, I. illotus was a lightly built sprinter. Its lethal venom killed small prey within moments of biting, thus reducing the risk of injury to the hunter.
Trivia[]
- Like all animals from Skull Island. It is unknown what they faced during the sinking of the island. Given the multiple expeditions, there may be a chance that a few surviving populations was saved off-land to a more stable enclosure.
