The Javelin (Aclys festinus, meaning "hasty javelin") is a species of fish native to Skull Island's waterways, similar to a gar in appearance.
Facts[]
Forming what seems to be Skull Island's tertiary aquatic predator. Like the gar, the Javelin likely used speed to deliver a crushing bite on its prey. Its flat surface reduces drag and improves on its hydrodynamics, making the Javelin a very fast and nimble predator.
Whilst not as large as the Piranhadon, the Javelin provides a important part in the ecosystem, which is in the population control of small aquatic prey items considered too small to be worth eating by the Piranhadon

Trivia[]
- A javelin is also a type of spear.
- Like all animals from Skull Island. It is unknown what they faced during the sinking of the island. Given the multiple expeditions, there may be a chance that a few surviving populations was saved off-land to a more stable enclosure.
