Joe Perko was a large, muscular crew member aboard the Petrox Explorer. He was played by Jack O'Halloran.

Perko went along with Jack Prescott and Carnahan as part of the search party trying to rescue Dwan from King Kong. He was the third man killed by falling into a deep chasm when Kong shook them all from a log bridge.
