Megapede humus (meaning "earth giant-feet") is a 26-40 inches long (66-101.6 centimeters) species of megapede.
Facts[]
An extremely large centipede. Megapede humus is a megapede that used their large sets of front legs to burrow underground and eat rats and other insects in their burrows. It was the smallest of the megapede, although that is only in relative terms.
Like all megapedes, M. humus was stockier and heavier than the more slender Idolon genus. However, whilst their jaw strength was formidable, their venom contents is predictably more muted than the Idolon genus.
Trivia[]
- Like all animals from Skull Island. It is unknown what they faced during the sinking of the island. Given the multiple expeditions, there may be a chance that a few surviving populations was saved off-land to a more stable enclosure.
