Nepalacus (meaning "lake-scorpion"), is an 8-16 inches long (20.3-40.6 centimeters) aquatic myriapod.
Facts[]
Nepalacus were meduim-sized aquatic neopedes with webbed membranes between their legs, yielding them great agility and efficiency as swimmers. Several species had evolved, with varying degrees of leg reduction and varied webbing configurations.
They occupied the middle of the riverine foodchain, preying on smaller fish and themselves preyed by larger marine organisms and other larger neopedes. It was likely a pursuit hunter.
It somewhat resembles a Eurypterid.
Trivia[]
- Like all animals from Skull Island. It is unknown what they faced during the sinking of the island. Given the multiple expeditions, there may be a chance that a few surviving populations was saved off-land to a more stable enclosure.
