The Pitchbug, or Piceuscutum ("Pitch shield"), is a small arachnid native to Skull Island.
Facts[]
The Pitchbug is an unusual type of arachnid that superficially looks like a spider. However, as its name implies, the Pitchbug is usually found making its home inside pitches for both shelter and protection from predators.
It is unknown what diet the Pitchbug eats, although like the majority of arachnids, the Pitchbug is most likely an insectivore of some kind.
Trivia[]
- Like all animals from Skull Island. It is unknown what they faced during the sinking of the island. Given the multiple expeditions, there may be a chance that a few surviving populations was saved off-land to a more stable enclosure.
