The Shaggywing, Comososptero ("shaggy-wing") is a moth found on Skull Island.
Facts[]
One of the few Lepidoptera of the island, the Shaggywing resembles the atlas moth of mainland Asia, and could be related.
Little is known about it, but it may have been a nocturnal pollinator like most moths, and of course the Shaggywing might also be a food item to other animals, like the Feather Devil and Idolon venefaucus.
Trivia[]
- Like all animals from Skull Island. It is unknown what they faced during the sinking of the island. Given the multiple expeditions, there may be a chance that a few surviving populations was saved off-land to a more stable enclosure.
