The Skull Island Meat Weevil is a emerald green-shelled carrion-eating insect found on Skull Island.
Facts[]
Unlike the majority of Weevils which are either granivores, frugivores or herbivores, the Skull Island Meat Weevil like most animals on Skull Island, had evolved to a monstrous apetite; subsisting on rotting flesh instead.
It lays its eggs deep in the carcasses of dead animals, where they survive ingestion by meat-eating vertebrates, passing intact through the digestive tract to emerge as larvae in the dung.

- Like all animals from Skull Island. It is unknown what they faced during the sinking of the island. Given the multiple expeditions, there may be a chance that a few surviving populations was saved off-land to a more stable enclosure.
