Son of Kong

Styracosaurus is a genus of ceratopsian dinosaurs from the Cretaceous Period. It has four to six long horns extending from its neck frill, a smaller horn on each of its cheeks, and a single horn protruding from its nose, which may have been up to 60 centimeters (2 ft) long and 15 centimeters (6 in) wide. The function or functions of the horns and frills have been debated for many years. It was a huge herbivore which was about 30 feet long, 10 feet tall and weight about 5 tons.

King Kong

Styracosaurus was in a deleted scene in King Kong, where he chased the crew to the log bridge. He, like lots of the other dinosaurs, ate a member of the crew. He also trapped them on the bridge, and with Kong on the other side, they couldn't escape. In the final cut, the Styracosaurus was deleted from the movie because it took too much attention from Kong.

In Son of Kong

Corners Hellstrom, Englehorn and Charlie into a cave in Son of Kong, destroying one of their guns. When the island was sinking the Styracosaurus was one of the creatures that escaped with the Giant Cave Bear and Elasmosaurus (offscreen), but the other creatures died with the Son of Kong.

In Kenny and the Lost World

It was seen in the 2013 original Peter Jackson movie (released on March 2nd, 2013), and it was with the other creatures that chased Kenny and the crewmen to the log bridge. After Kong killed Hayes and shook them off the log and into the pit, Little Kong got boulders and knocked every creature off their feet, except the Foetodon.
