Timmons was a member of the Petrox Explorer's crew.

Timmons went along with Jack Prescott , Carnahan, Garcia , Boan and Joe Perko as part of the search party trying to rescue Dwan from King Kong when the natives give her to Kong. Then the group managed to catch up with Kong and were chased onto a log. Then Kong shakes the log for payback for being shot at and this causes Timmons to fall to his death while he was trying to hold on.
