This individual was part of the crew of the SS Venture on the expedition to Skull Island.
Biography[]
The man was hired by Carl Denham to an expedition to Singapore (never telling him and the other crew that he was actually going to Skull Island). This sailor was one of the known sailors Jimmy told that they were headed to Skull Island. This sailor was one of the known sailors who went to the Island with Denham and his group. He along with the rest of the crew helped try to remove things to keep the ship from sinking before Ann Darrow's kidnapping.
Crewman 22 saving Carl and the others.
He was one of the 5 rescue members along with Captain Engelhorn and Bruce Baxter, saving Jack, Carl, Jimmy and Preston from the Spider Pit Chasm. Crewman 22 is later seen holding the machete, waiting nervously for Carl's order to open the gate. Preston is annoyed and interfere him, cutting the rope himself.
Crewman 22 along with the radio operator, Jack, Carl and Jimmy tried to escape Kong in a lifeboat. Jimmy started to fire against Kong, who became very angry and grabbed the boat and threw it against the rock wall, probably causing the death of a few sailors. The fate of crewman 22 is unclear, whether he died or got injured on the impact.
