This individual, only known as the Third Venture Crewman, was part of the SS Venture's crew on the expedition to Skull Island, who appeared in the 2005 remake of King Kong. He is part of the search party who search for Ann Darrow, who was taken away by Kong in the rainforests of Skull Island.
He survives almost all conflicts within their trek, up until they tried to cross the giant log that connects to Kong's lair. An angered Kong attacked them by shaking the log, throwing most of the crewmen off. He hung onto a branch but then Kong overturned the log which fell into the Insect Chasm, an abyss full of giant insects. While he grabs onto the log when it falls, he dies when the log stops between the rock walls and falls with the other crew, only this time he dies from a hard impact onto the ground, killing him.
Despite being dead and his body near the muck pool where giant leeches lived, the giant insects tossed his body around until it was caught by a bigger insect.
He was portrayed by William "Will" Wallace.
Biography[]
The man was hired by Carl Denham to an expedition to Singapore (whom unbeknownst to him and the rest of the crew, were actually going to Skull Island). He along with the rest of the crew helped try to remove things to keep the ship from sinking before Ann Darrow's kidnapping. He was later was among the group of crewmen, part of the search crew to search for Ann, who survived almost the entire dangers and overall expedition of Skull Island.

When a Ferrucutus attacked, he was hit two times, one after the startled crewman who caused it to attack them was hit, and one that launched him pass some trees, somehow surviving the attacks. He got himself up and continued with no injuries. When they came and stop by a narrow, temple-like valley, some Brontosauruses were being pursued by a pack of Venatosaurus, which caused them to stampede into the valley. The crewman kept up mostly in the front of the running men, seen when Bruce Baxter found a temporary gap to hide, where he is subtly seen between behind Preston and the twelvth crewman, where he made it pass the collapsing cliff and climbed up the rocky hill where behind them where most of the surviving Brontosaurs piling up, where he avoided the surviving Venatosaurs who tried to eat them.
He made it passed the swamp, where a Piranhadon attacked, and he made to shore alongside the fourth Venture crewman. However, his demise would occur when they found a giant fallen log that acted as a bridge to Kong's lair. Once Ben Hayes tells the men to back off back to the log, he is grabbed by Kong, and is killed when he throws him into a cliff, into the Insect Chasm. The Venture crewman attempted his best to ward off Kong but Kong had the advantage and shook the log, where he gripped onto the log, before Kong turned it and the log, which had the Crewman and the surviving others to hold onto. Once the log made it to a stop near the bottom, the force made all the men lose their grip and fall, whereas this crewman died on impact, most likely because he landed on a hard surface.
He landed near the muck pool (where the bodies of Choy and the second Venture crewman laid), where several Carnictis lived, but already being dead, the Carnictises tried to eat his corpse, before later on, a group of Arachno-claws tossed his body before being grabbed by a larger Deplector, that caught his body in its pincers. It is likely his corpse was taken away to be fed upon.
Appearance[]
He wore a cap, a white sort-sleeve shirt, a dark blackish-blue vest, black pants and black shoes. He was equipped with a Mauser Gewehr 98 and had a dagger holster that had a holster in it. He also had a sling bag, which more likely had a small bottle of liquor in it, or it had a small number of ammunition for his firearm.
