The Impiutextor, (meaning "wicked-weaver"), is a spider with a 4-6 inch legspan (10.1-15.2 centimeters).
Facts[]
The spiny orb spider Imiutextor strung its thin webs between the branches to ensnare small birds, insects and the occasional Flizards. Wicked Weavers had a fast-acting venom, usually paralyzing their prey within seconds.
Their webs were strong, but the larger prey they preferred was sometimes able to writhe free, tearing away chunks of web and falling to the forest floor, out of the spider's reach. If bitten, the spider's venom quickly subdued the prey, minimizing the chance that the hunter might loose its meal.
Trivia[]
- Like all animals from Skull Island. It is unknown what they faced during the sinking of the island. Given the multiple expeditions, there may be a chance that a few surviving populations was saved off-land to a more stable enclosure.
