This individual was an actress who played as Ann Darrow in the Broadway show King Kong: The Eighth Wonder of the World. The actress got the role by Carl Denham after the real Ann turned him down because of what he did with Kong. When Kong broke free from his chrome-steel chains, the actress started to yell for help for real, but the actors in the show instead escaped from the theater. Kong later grabbed the actress from the poles that held her and threw her clear across the theater, wounding or killing her.
